Document translation guide
1. Prepare the original
Use DOCX, a PDF with selectable text, UTF-8 text, or Markdown. Remove PDF passwords. Scanned pages require OCR before translation. The limits are 25 MB, 100 PDF pages, 50,000 source words, and 400,000 extracted characters per document.
2. Review the price
Choose your target language and review the word count and price. Your quote is valid for ten minutes. Check any format warnings, then select Translate.
3. Download and review
The default download uses the original extension. Choose an alternate format from the download menu. PDF pages reflow; check long paragraphs, columns, and tables. Word keeps its original package and supported text formatting.
4. Return to a recent translation
Results remain available for one hour. Reselect the unchanged original file to download a saved translation. Editing the original requires a new translation.
